But it's a testament to how good a job she did that we hate her so much. Of course we hate her, that's her character.

Stone won a Golden Globe, and an Oscar nomination for her role. One of the most iconic scenes is when Sam first meets Ginger. It follows the life of Sam Ace Rothstein, who is asked to manage a major casino and hotel, and there are many great scenes inside the casino. How that little scallywag of a robber in Home Alone came from as hard a bastard as that in Casino and Goodfellas, I do not know! He pulls it off like no one else! Casino is a 1995 film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci. The De Niro / Pesci pairing is just perfect. Of course it has such an evil side, but gets me every time. As enjoyable as the film can be, the whole eperience feels like one long expositionary moment after another. These movies in a very strange way always make me wish I'd been part of that life. A in-depth look at the operation of a Las Vegas casino in the 1970s, Scorseses film chronicles the rise and fall of casino manager Ace Rothstein (Robert De Niro). I just love that this (along with Goodfellas) is so closely tied to real life events. Ultimately, the lessons that we can learn from gambling and casino-themed movies are that gambling can be dangerous and that casinos are not always trustworthy. In both of these movies, the casinos use various tricks to cheat the players out of their money. The music, the actors, the scenes, everything he does is just perfect. This is highlighted in movies like 21 and The Sting. Scorsese just has a way of making a movie. Can't count the number of times I've watched them. I put them very close together (Goodfellas a little higher).
